Hey everyone. I know it has been a while since I have done any art work. I took a year off from my art work to focus on a few things in life. My life over the past few years has become more and more demanding and I have found less and less time to paint. I have really let myself down for not sticking with the momentum I created with my work. Well, I have done a lot of soul-searching and have got my priorities straight. With that being said…I’m back. I have two brand new paintings that I’ll be posting up soon, I’m selling off a few old paintings at a HUGE discount too, and I’m starting to look into getting back to Art Walk here in Jacksonville….possibly as soon as March or April…maybe even back into a gallery or two. Thanks to all of you out there that still ask me what the hell am I doing. I’m back folks and I expect some good things to come from me in 2012. I’m about to do work son!- Ill be posting my new paintings tomorrow and the Ebay sale will follow shortly after. After these few little sales I will begin working on some brand new paintings for Art Walk. I was so happy yesterday when I finished just a small painting. I remembered why I loved painting before and Im really glad to have my mojo back.

Hello everyone. Just wanted to post up a quick message about a really fun interview I did with my friend and fellow artist Megan Belcher. Megan asked some pretty cool questions and I had fun doing the lil interview with her. Check it out for an inside scoop on my inspirations, my drive, and what my favorite movie is. On a side note, I’ve been busy,busy,busy. I am working away on some new paintings, sketches, and t-shirt designs. I know, I know, I know…here I go with the t-shirt thing again. Looks as if eBay has been good to me lately. Just sold one older piece and a few new smaller pieces on eBay this week. EBay is a funny thing for sure and you gotta know what to expect from eBay. You may have a hard time selling high dollar art work on their but, if you price your work fairly, keep it small, and keep it affordable, it can really help to get more of your art work out there to folks who really love what you do. Thanks to all of my new eBay friends, you all rock. I’m working on about 4 more smaller pieces for eBay to come up next week. WOOT WOOT!!!

Got a new painting up on eBay right now. This one I titled as “Love Me?”.  This one is of one of my favorite characters, the skull bunny. The painting is all acrylic, signed and dated, on wood. Got a new painting up on eBay right now. Its set as a five-day auction and opening bid is just 9 bucks! I know its been a looooooooooooong time since I’ve painted anything, but, after exorcising a few demons I feel I’m back to picking up my brushes again. I know this is just a simple painting but, it felt great to be painting again. I’m definitely motivated once again to produce more work. I really feel like I’m back up on the horse and ready to create. I’m also working on two other paintings right now that will also be sold only on eBay. I might be doing an upcoming show in L.A. sometime around November as well. Feels good to get back to what I love. Check out the auction here on eBay….I also listed a few older paintings as well.  Shinigami-
(death god” or “death spirit”) is the personification of death in Japan. It’s unclear when the concept entered Japanese culture; it may have been imported from China (where there are several psychopomp deities), or possibly been imported from Europe during the Sengoku era—that period in European history featured a common motif of the Grim Reaper gathering souls. The term appears twice i…n the play The Love Suicides at Amijima by Chikamatsu Monzaemon (1721). The term shinigami may also be used more loosely to refer to any death deity. It seems to be a recent term, however, as it belongs to no specific Shinto deity and is rarely used in folklore. Today, the use of shinigami for psychopomps and other supernatural beings associated with death in Japanese manga and anime is common. For example, the series Ballad of a Shinigami, Bleach, Death Note, Full Moon wo Sagashite, Soul Eater, and Kuroshitsuji use shinigami as a major plot device.

I have put up a total of 9 paintings up for grabs on eBay. I have kept the opening bids on all of these pieces very,very, low compared to what these paintings would cost via my website or in a gallery setting. Why am I selling off my original paintings so low? Well, it’s a new year and I need to get out with the old to bring in the new. Plus I need some start-up money to begin screen printing! This will give me the extra income necessary to buy all the supplies I need to get things going. If you have ever bought some of my work now would be a great time to buy a painting from me.
